Functional Principle

Function principle

AIR-SEP® uses the absorption capacity of the gases and salts in water when pressurised.

In other words pressurised water can absorb gases and salts (in a similar way to mineral water in a bottle) and transport them. The air is not visible up to saturation point. When part of the volume of water is depressurised in the AIR-SEP® to atmospheric pressure, the contents are released. The depressurised water is repressurised and can then absorb the dissolving gases and salts as it goes back into the system and this therefore results in partial desalination.

The recurring processes can completely degas the system and remove any air which gets into the system repeatedly.

Result:
Adiabatic degassing and inert, circulating water.
